A Good Job is GREAT to Find

Posted September 12, 2007 3:00 AM by Steve Melito

Popular Science announces its Bottom 10 List of 2007, saluting those who undertake the most undesirable jobs in science. What could be worse than whale feces researcher, gravity research subject, or forensic entomologist (who solves murders by studying maggots)? Hazmat diver leads the list, with elephant vasectomist not far behind.

The preceding article is a "sneak peek" from Environmental Technology, a newsletter from GlobalSpec. To stay up-to-date and informed on industry trends, products, and technologies, subscribe to Environmental Technology today.

Perssonally i don`t feel any job to be bad , somebody any way does it for money , satisfaction ,need ,desire .every field has its own charm , ideal candidate is who takes the task with keen desire and interest and that is the right candidate , they do not bother about risks , challenges and presume they are born to do that perticular tasks , aren`t astronoughts ,nuclear scientist , waste managers doing that risky and dirty jobs , havn`t our past scientist inventors medical researchers risked themselves for unknown phenomenon to save us , make betterment of mankind.

I think forensic entomologist job to be satisfying experiance when these guys find clued from nothing to everything , engineer too finds solutions in his respective field , it may be undesirable for somebody , but somebody die to get such jobs , are military personnel , police man , fire fighters happy with there jobs , they are, even though they risk there life to save otheres , they are happy about it prior too getting patriotic , we are human beings , its our will that seperate us from other species , from my point these are great jobs that you describe as "undesirable"
