If you are based in india then you can refer Oil industries safety standards (OSTD)published by ministery of oil and Gas and National Fire protection association of US normally refered as NFPA specifies all aspects of fire safety (Detection and proctection) OSTD would give you all aspects of fire protection as applicable in india.
