With new ideas come new risks. The Archimedes Bridge project is an example of an innovative bridge design. Actually, the design makes it more of a submerged floating tunnel than a bridge. This European and Chinese-engineered bridge project is one example of new approaches to an old idea. It actually employs the ancient principles of Archimedes developed in the third century.
