New 'Lobster Vision' Cam Sees Through Walls

Posted December 26, 2007 3:53 PM

From The Raw Feed:

A Torrance, California, company called Physical Optics Corporation is working on a camera based on lobster eyes that can see through walls. Called LEXID (Lobster-Eye X-ray Inspection Device). The LEXID can see through wood, concrete and even steel by beaming X-rays, then focusing on the reflection (rather than refraction) of objects -- which is how lobsters see through murky waters. The LEXID should be available for purchase by the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies. I want one.

Yes, more potentially "dangerous for health" intrusion into our private lives by "State Agencies" and other outfits.

Freedom and privacies, once lost are very difficult,or impossible, to regain.

Kind Regards.....

How long do you think it will take before the medical profession tells Homeland Security that the increased risk of cancer from X-RAYS is unacceptable and the system cant be used. Or will Homeland Security require everyone to sign a disclaimer when scanned that precludes lawsuits?

They talk about millimeter waves allot. They can see through people's clothes. It's less of a threat to people than X rays that can cause cancer. What's wrong with viewing their bodies if its stopping terrorism?

So lobsters are able to shoot, focus and process X-ray's from their eyes?

1) How the hell did that happen.

2) I have a new favorite superhero: LobsterMan, LobsterMan, you can't see what he can scan. LobsterMan LobsterMan!

You said you collect gifs and jpg's until you feel you can use them. I BELIEVE you. Damn, you got one for just about anything.

Maybe the local carpenters can buy the used ones when DHS gets told to can them. This way they won't drive nails through pipes or wires!
