Three-Parent Embryo Made in Lab

Scientists believe they have made a breakthrough in IVF treatment by creating a human embryo with three separate parents. The Newcastle University team believe the technique could help to eradicate a whole class of hereditary diseases, including some forms of epilepsy.

Well now we will not only have 'Franken-fruit', we will have 'Franken-people'!

What if 1 parent's genes want the offspring to be female and the other wants it to be male?

What was the point in mapping the human genome if we are going to pull this crap? Maybe they should use frog DNA to fill in the missing sequences.
