Phun! A 2D Physics Sandbox!

Posted March 04, 2008 5:04 PM

From In4mador!:

A 2D physics sandbox. This is a very cool little application that you can use to learn / play with physics. You do have to install it, but once you watch the video of it in action, I think you'll want to!

Read the whole article and watch the video

I didn't instal the application, because I'm careful about that sort of thing.

So I went to Utube, to look at the Video, as per the Article.

It was not there at Utube, just a cryptic message: This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.

So that's it, for me.

Kind Regards....

I did a quick search and found the main website. Phun was developed by a student at a Swedish university (http://www.vrlab.umu.se/research/phun/)

Currently available for Linux or Windows.

My son installed this and was showing it to me the other day. It's very cool, and seems legitimate (it did not install any malware on my computer).

The program allows you to design 2D moving structures based on physics principles. Its slick. Give it a try.
