New technology transmits data through the human body

At the Next Generation Computing Show 2006 in Korea ETRI technologies showcased the Wrist Information device which functions on BAN (Body Area technology). It is basically a PDA to be worn on your wrist and it uses the body as a medium to transmit data to compatible devices. For eg - You have worked on a word document on the Wrist Information device and you need a print out, so all you do is give the print command on the device and touch a compatible printer and the data is transmitted from the device to the printer via your body. Though still in development stage the technology looks very promising.

I can see it now...tattoos made from liquid crystals...the cheat sheet in the palm of your hand....
