Bluetooth Headset Has a Frickin' Laser Pointer

Posted June 18, 2008 8:11 AM

From Crave: The gadget blog:

We're convinced that this gadget was invented by Dr. Evil fans simply for the shark references: It's a Bluetooth headset from Brando (of course) that comes with a built-in laser pointer. It actually could come handy for PowerPoint presentations, though we'd recommend taking it it off your ear before using the pointer to avoid looking like a trained seal.

I would be worried about pointing it into someone's eye (mainly mine).

Sounds about as useful as a toilet seat that swings down.

Yes, I would be concerned about retinal damage to others, or myself.

If the inventor likes to "add functions" he could have added an electric drill gun, portable mini sander, vacuum cleaner, electric screwdriver, bottle opener, nose hair trimmer, plus other functions to make the invention truly useful

Kind Regards....

Or it could have been inspired by the Star Trek The Next Generation episode were Picard

was captured by the Borg and turned to Q-Lotus (I think this is correct). When Picard turned to the camera and the laser pointed into the camera it looked evil.

This is my option and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks, I was sleep deprived and what I typed did not match what I was thinking.

Let's hope we don't meet you coming the other way driving your car, while in that same mode.
