Four Hard-to-Find Fixes for Common Windows Annoyances

I beat the crap out of xp-pro and it keeps on ticking. Some times it breaks but not very often.

I got a new computer with vista on it. Boy does it stink. If you dont have to, dont get any vista on our computer.

I went out and bought 2 more copies of xp-pro before Microsoft stops selling it, just to protect my future use on my computers.

Win2000 pro is a robust operating System, which just needed the ease of the multimedia improved.

WinXP Pro is in the happy state of having most of the annoying bugs knocked out of it.

WinVista, on the other hand, is still in its infancy, and presently to be found in the doldrums of bug-fixes yet to arrive, like lifeboats to a ship adrift.

I have tried WinVista, and so far found it wanting - Perhaps in 5 years or so, it may be OK.

There is, of course this happy little chap on the left, in various flavours, and I am sure that eventually many will take him aboard their ship.
