Use Your Landline

Posted August 12, 2008 8:00 AM

How did we ever live without them? Now you might want to: The respected head of a prominent cancer research institute has warned his staff to limit cell phone use due to the possible risk of cancer. While his warning is contrary to many studies that don't prove a causal link between cancer and cell phone use, Dr. Ronald B. Herberman of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute maintains that electromagnetic radiation from cell phones is a risk, particularly to children. He urges use of speakerphones or wireless headsets, and is convinced that sufficient data warrant concern. Are you going to limit cell phone use until this risk is proven or dispelled? Please email your responses; I'm not answering my phone.

No. Why should I? I already have an acoustic neuroma on the left side where I used to use my cell phone. Now that ear is deaf and I have to use my right ear for the cell phone.

Here in the UK and Sweden we have dicovered that long term use or high daily use of mobile phones by young children is dangerous!

We have also discovered that mobile phone masts in clusters of two or more can cause cancer clusters! Only two miles from where I live there is a small village that had two mobile phone masts within 100 yards of each other, six months ago another phone company wanted erect a third mast within a distance of 100 yards of the other two phone masts placed in a 100 yards triangle. This was stopped by the local authorities becauce at other sites where the phone masts were in the same type of clusters there was a high degree of local cancers within such a triangle!

It also has been proven that any high degree of EMFs can be very detrimental to humans. This is not fable, it has been proven by many scientists all over the world. The problem being that any company that wants to sell electrical products that emit a high degree of EMF employ scientists to agree with them that it is not dangerous, but then again these scientists are paid vast sums of money to produce good results for the company that employ them!!!

This has happened to many products throughout history, DDT, certain weedkillers etc, etc, so do not be fooled!!!!!!!!!

Spencer.

Spencer, if you were here the MUMM's would be flowing. Jeroboam sized at that, I cannot THANK you enough for the post you have put out on this item.

You have supported what i have been harping about for years. At one time i was on a job with another locksmith, it was my observation that he may as well have had his cell phone attached to his head, I wish that i had not said it in such a flippant manner, i warched him die a year later from a unstoppable cancer that started in his ear canal.

now if you want to have a boo at a liverpoll rozers' noters dig up the story about the 4 year old in safeway. that will blow your mind, it did that to what is left of mine.

again this is a 10 star response, Sparky please let it stay.

thank you so much. again you probably have no idea what you have done for me and if they are still alive around 60 or 65 owners of the methacryl implant.

'da ber

Ah, the arrogance of "science". Anecdotal rubbish, "they" say.

... more like all the other cover-ups... tobacco and Vioxx to name a couple.

Kudos for the few scientists who see through so-called "scientific studies", many of which have predetermined outcomes because of the parameters (compare many Vitamin C studies in relation to the book,"Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins: Curing the Incurable" by Dr. Tom Levy).

But, it's a free country. Everyone has the right to increase their risk of ill health by their habits.
