Million Dollar Mustang on eBay

Posted December 29, 2008 2:07 PM by CarDomain

Ok, so maybe it's not worth $1 million. It might not even be worth $4,000. But it doesn't hurt to ask, right? The following is from eBay.

"This is a 1998 Mustang Roush which I had completely customized in September 2007. I believe the pictures describe how unique this vehicle is. it is a head turner. It has approximately 175k miles and it runs great. I am the original owner and all paperwork, smoke, title is up to date."

So let's start the bidding . . .

I didn't know you could even get 175K miles on a Mustang. Why not sell that fancy home instead?

Something tells me that if you're in serious financial trouble, to the point that you need 1 million dollars, then you probably shouldnt have blown your money on custom paint, wheels, lambo doors, etc, for a piece of s%$t ford. Even a 67 Shelby GT 500 doesnt command a $1 mil price tag.

Then again, the "one red paper clip" guy found enough idiots on the internet...

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Ever think of down sizing, my friend? Look at your neighbor's house. If yours looks anything like his then it was probably worth $1mil back in 2002 when you bought it. Rent! I'm sure you can find another home in the same community for rent. Your rent would most likely be half of what your monthly mortgage is now. With a pool and a spa too.

Dude, you have 175,000 miles on your ride. Don't get me wrong, she's beautiful. I know you put your heart & soul into it. But still. A million dollars?! I appreciate your effort to score enough money to get you outta hardship but unless some "A list" celebrity previously owned it and made some scandalous news in it, heart & soul is only worth so much to anyone else.

You would be better off holding on to that ride for your children for about another 50 years, if you want a million for it.

I have a really cool Budweiser collection with various bottles from around the world, neon signs, antiques, artwork, and such. Do you think I can get a million dollars for it?

Good Luck Dude.
