Because everyones idea of interesting is different. When you limit diversity stagnation sets in, and the majority gets all caught up in their comfort zone. Then the world changes and they are left behind. The larger the diversity the faster change can be managed.

Apparently, after decades of research, a vast mountain of evidence has shown that whenever a particular group of people developed new methods of fermentation, coupled with new methods of producing weapons, they proceded to conquer and kill dumber, more gullible, neighbors, thus conclusively demonstrating the phenomenon. And because the method is well known and reproducible, peer reviewed.. its good science. Like I said.. the evidence is staggering.

Yeah my evident staggering quit when I stopped mixing guns and ethanol. My Dart score on the other hand lowered. Music mixed well with ethanol because we called the staggering dancing.
