Posted May 23, 2009 8:08 AM

Where's the best place in the whole world for a pump person to work? Ideally, it would be a place with plentiful pump jobs, a nice climate, clean environment, and good schools for your kids. Does such a place exist? Australia comes to mind, but what do you think? Where's pump paradise?

If you want repair/replace work on pumps the pulp and paper industry sure has a lot. I work in maintainence in a pulp mill and a large part of our work is pumps. All sorts , from heavy pulp to chemical dosing pumps.

If demand is the determinant, then I would say the bilge of a ship, The bottom of a mine, or on the control of a fire truck. But then, I've probably misread the question.
