Electric Shock: Tesla Model S Exclusive

Posted June 09, 2009 12:02 PM by CarDomain

There's really no other way to say it. The teaser for oncars.com's three-part Tesla Model S feature is straight-up sexy.

Now, I've given Tesla plenty of grief over the company's slow crawl into the auto industry. Between the delays with getting its Roadster to customers, to the opening — and closing — of the Detroit office to the flaky trannys, it hasn't been an easy road for the Silicon valley start-up.

Some in the press even said the Roadster would amount to vaporware. But my gut says the future holds good things for Tesla, and I love styling of the Model S. In my opinion, it kind of looks like a cross between a Maser and the new Jag XF. Here's hoping it doesn't wind up as an exotic.

I would like to see some acceleration curves verses other gasoline based 4 door family cars. That would appeal to the engineers here.

I like the way it looks, but like beautiful women it is only skin deep. I want to know if it has what it takes to make me lust!

It really is a beautiful car. There's more pictures with different angels here : http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/26/tesla-model-s-photos-leak_n_179616.html

Although at this website there are no pictures of the car turned on, I especially like the way the front end looks while powered. Almost new Audi like headlights, but sexier.
