Will Going Green Make Some Green?

Posted June 26, 2009 7:52 AM

Devastated by a tornado in May 2007, the tiny town of Greensburg, Kansas decided to turn tragedy into opportunity. The town rebuilt, using green and sustainable construction practices and materials, and now bills itself as an ecotourism destination. Will the investments in sustainability pay off? Can they attract new business and new residents? Can going green really help the town's economy?

I dunno.... If a Kansas tornado can pick up a house with a girl and dog inside, only to set it down miles away on top of a witch, while changing dimensions into a colored world, I can only imagine what It will do to the Wind turbines along the landscape.

Now, thats a nice run-on sentence.
