Strong Meteor Shower Expected Tonight

The annual Perseid meteor shower is expected to put on a good show this week for those willing to get up in the wee hours of the morning and wait patiently for the shooting stars. In North America, the best time to watch will be between midnight to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, but late Tuesday night and also Wednesday night could prove fruitful, weather permitting.

The forecast is pretty good according to the Telegraph, at least it is here in the SE, maybe not so good in Harlow.

I took my two cats to watch these last year. Safi was really good. I hope he can watch them from wherever he is now

If I can stay awake that long, I might put the kittens on leads and take them....

Sunny, blue skies, fluffy white clouds about 3/8 ( from my window view) coverage here in Cabbage Crunching County (a bit north of Harlow). Cloud looks thicker towards the east.
