First (technical) loves are aeronautical engineering and propulsion, but I'm a compulsive researcher and learner and have branched out into other fields, with a strong preference for the more obscure ones. My family has to put up with my twenty file cabinets full of (to them) indecipherable junk, my stacks of microfiche and microfilm boxes and my growing collection of CD and DVD-ROM. My most precious goal is to somehow get all that paper and film converted into bytes before I get too old to operate a scanner. Current projects are re-introducing beekeeping into northern Mindanao, building a hovercraft for farm-to-market transportation, starting a cheese-making enterprise and surviving the global financial crisis.
"You say I started out with practically nothing, but that isn't correct. We all start with all there is. It's how we use it that makes things possible." -- Henry Ford
