Hazardous Area Classification

Zone classification distance for the flanges and filling lines is required. Please clarify IS 5572 is referred

The flanges and filling lines and all the rest of the installation are unknown and standard can not be clarified without further information.

If zone classification is needed in a business environment with hazards involved it is advisable to pay a consultant to this. This consultant can also assist with identifying and following the necessary standard(s).

Then just purchase the Indian standard IS 5572 standard, and any other standard mentioned or required. We are talking about zoning a Hazardous Area here, if you don't know what you are doing you shouldn't be doing it.

Legal reasons, bla, bla, bla, ethical liability, bla, bla, hire a consultant, bla, bla.

If the distance from the flanges is greater than zero then the plant has a major materials containment problem that requires addressing immediately!
