I believe that the truck that lost the blade is not the only one that drop a load!

Reading through the comments, I got to this one, and I nearly passed out, I was laughing too hard to breathe.

The perfect comment, right at the perfect point in the conversation.

GA, and Eff you for nearly making me spill my morning coffee. Spit-taking into my monitor is one thing, but I almost dropped the mug this time.

Good thing it wasn't this blade! It would have cut the car in half!

Re: I Saw Something!

That's impossible for several reasons:

  1. The vehicle exhibits repeated cutting in the same place, which implies the saw was running at high speed, it would have required an axis to spin on, otherwise the saw would have jumped over the car an into the wilderness.
  2. We don't see paint and friction marks on the saw edge of about the same depth as the cut.
  3. Lack of debris.
  4. If the wheel was not rotating, it would have warped all the hood and caused an irregular breakage of the plastic grill, not a clean cut.

Other than that, it's pretty cool !

Bucky and Woody Beaver watched from the cover of the trees as the saw blade bounced and whanged down the mountain, "That's gonna leave a mark" said Bucky, wiping the rust off his paws. Woody remarked, "Hey Bucky, aint that the tree huggers truck?

Re: I Saw Something!

Appears to me if the saw blade was rolling down hill, the residual spin at the collision point would leave tool marks in the cut on the automobile such that, nearly all other saws in the field of exemplars could be ruled out, and one should be able to develop a quick model of energy transfer to show the result of too many animated cartoons.

I typed this while passing into a sugar-donut induced coma, so some passages may not make any sense whatsoever.
