There are still many Ford dealerships around the world, and stores like NAPA (National Auto Parts Association). Alas, Click and Clack are defunct, except for reruns.

Motor manuals cover 10 years of many models. I want my specific truck.

It's a 78 Ford pickup!!! If you exclude the headlights brake and blinker systems you have like 6 other wires in the whole truck that serve any useful purpose.

Radio, cigarette lighter, dome light, heater, wipers, horn.

I would have also included the gas gauge, oil gauge, and temp gauge wiring but I have drove Fords all my life and I know damn well those things never work right any way.

GA. Not sure if he wanted the wiring diagram or the water circuit....

Two hoses and one of them will have an inline valve so you can regulate the water flow.

Maybe OP has some other issue that complicates it?

78 F150 was a basic ute. Nice and roomy. Heater provided additional engine cooling if you were towing up hill for a stretch.

The appropriate Haynes Manual for the vehicle will contain it. How about Amazon (usual disclaimer)?

Yes. I need to see every phase of the heating system because I think parts are missing. I have nothing to look at to compare. I'm working blind.

It's been my experience with Fords (which started with a 1979 Mustang) that you have to know on which day of the week and on which shift they were built to be able to work on them. With that car there were two versions made. One was produced for the first half of the model year and the other for the last half. Mine can from the first half. I was firmly convinced that there were only seven of the things made and I had two of them (one parts car). You could not find parts for that one anywhere. The ones built during the second half of the year used the engine from the Pinto (laugh if you want but I've seen several great race cars built from Pintos - you just had to use a fuel cell instead of the original gas tank) and you could get parts for them from any junk yard. I had a 1985 Tempo that had a transmission in it that was not even listed as a part used for the vehicle. The spline count on the CV joints was different than anything in the shop manuals for the car. My brother had a Merkur XR4-Ti (2.3 liter turbo engine from the Thunderbird TC) that had the possibility of five different radiators. So the chance exists that his truck was made on a Tuesday at 2:17 PM and Ford changed the truck at 2:18 PM to a completely different design.

Here's a link to purchase a shop service manual on CD.

The public library here has about 10 feet of repair manuals. You can also buy them at auto parts stores.

You should have bought a manual when you had the first problem and came here.

"I need a heater diagram" doesn't say anything about why you need it or what "diagram" you need.

WHAT DOES NOT WORK???

Heaters are generic.

Buy a manual.

When I was a young man I was told that the best American cars were the ones built on a Wednesday.

The ones built on Mondays were made by assemblers still hung over from partying on the weekend.

The ones built on Tuesday were made by assemblers daydreaming and reminiscing about what they did on the weekend.

The ones built on Thursday were put together in a hurry in anticipation of getting paid on Friday.

The ones built on Friday were assembled by workers distracted by upcoming plans for the weekend.
