In my world, this would be the overriding concern, and if the spec was not specific on this point then I'd likely get on the phone and ask them. If they don't want to put a figure on it, then you need to know what sort of lengths of circuit your panel is going to be expected to cope with, what currents are involved, and do a couple of calcs yourself to work out what is the appropriate conductor size to use.

FWIW, I have oftgen resorted to 2.5mm2 conductors for panels that were expected to cope with ~50m or so at 24VDC, but this was after doing the calcs....

How about looking it up yourself and then report back here with your findings? We've done enough of our own homework in the past without compensation. The web is a good source for the information you are seeking.

However,in most cases,cable size of 1mm² and 1.5mm² have been used for control wiring in LT Panel works.

It depends on what stuff you stuff in the control cabinet
