Mechanical Seal Plan 52

have anyone done flushing for mechanical seal plan 52 please , if anyone got the procedure please let me know , as the working buffer liquid is kerosene and for other ones is Methanol.

i need the procedure of flushing the buffer bot and the buffer lines into and from the mechanical seal, also flushing for the cooling water lines , flushing means cleaning

procedure before filling the buffer into the bot, shall i purge with air and how to ensure that all the lines are cleaned before i fill the buffer

If this is being filled for the first time, you probably don't need to do anything other than insert the desired fluid. If the pump has been used previously with some other seal fluid, you may need to flush the seal, pot, and piping with a succession of solvents that will dissolve the old fluid and each other, ending with a solvent compatible with the new fluid.

What exactly are you talking about?

Mind reading does maybe exist but is not part of the engineering tradition.

You'd rather look for advice from the equipment manufacturer first, switch the brain on and then you could easily come up with a procedure yourself.
