	Dear ALL Does anyone know what is the maximum allowable stress value for ASME boiler tube material SA-219-T91? Context: i'm trying to find the minimum wall thickness based on ASME BPVC Sec I PG 27.2.1 but I couldn't find the Stress value in the ASME Sec II Part D Table 1A for this type of material. 	Also what is the meaning of the T91 in SA-219-T91? Correct me if i'm wrong but the 219 is only a sequence number right? Regards,

	The suppliers of the boiler tubes will. Pick up the phone, and ask them. The Engineer/Surveyor for the company supplying burst/collapse indemnity insurance cover on the vessel will. Their details and the individual's name are on the periodic inspection reports the facility will keep in order to monitor the condition and predict the longevity of the boiler. 	I only got the tensile & yield strength, and some other data...is there a formula to find the maximum allowable stress value with that?

	See if you can find "safety factor" in the Code provisions. It will be something like 1/4 of the ultimate tensile stress, and there may need to be an additional correction for elevated temperature. __________________ In vino veritas; in cervisia carmen; in aqua E. coli.

	I believe you might be talking about "ASME SA-213/335M" seamless re-heater Boiler tube, being "T91" just a 9%Cr-1% Mo grade option. "SA-219" is not related to boiler tubes. Cheers.
