I really cant see a need for it.

Maybe I am wrong - What was the result of your market research?

We intercept 100% of the grey-water at the outlet pipe on the outside of the house (above the gully).

Is there any advantage of taking it before that.?

Hi Hendrik

Yes, it becomes a DIY installation i.e. after the house has been built application rather than in the pre/build stage. We found that people wanted to re-cycle but in the UK did not want to involve a plumber or major refurbishment of their existing plumbing system.

Kind Regards

Martin

At one of the ski resorts in New Hampshire they use greywater to make snow. At this revelation, one of the local papers quipped: "Ski ____________ - where the affluent meet the effluent."

That's tricky where you have screens on the windows, which most places in Canada do. You would have to remove the screen or cut a little hole in it to put the hose through. Otherwise you have to lay your siphon pipe on the floor and out the door and leave the door open a crack letting bugs in. Not to mention wintertime when things freeze up. Always good to see more products coming out for water recycling though.

Hi Thanks for the comments, they are always helpful as we find out the global applications.

It was primarily designed for the UK and for emergency usage in drought periods since the original idea many people have decided they would use it on a regular basis we have developed a through the wall device (saving the screen cutting) which we are patenting at present.

I am really very interested in the size of plugs say for example in the US West Coast and in Australia. We have requested samples but I am awaiting delivery.Does anyone forsee a use in their country, and if you did would our plug fit?I also understand that many countries now prefer/are obliged to use showers to baths, which use less water.

Thanks for your time.

Kind Regards

Martin

A question on logistics: Who sits on the plug side if man and woman are bathing together?

I have a 1/2" hosepipe pump attachment for the drill. Can that be used?

In the question of logistics in this instance if we are referring to the UK,using the design of a standard bath it would be impossible for a man and woman to bath effectively or comfortably together side by side as the width would prohibit this, do you mean which end would they sit?

If that is indeed the situation which you envisage then naturally the gentleman should offer the lady the choice.

When the bath is complete I would always let the siphon principal empty the bath, there should be no need for mechanical assistance.

I hope this clears that matter up for you Hendrik.Have a nice (clean) day

Kind Regards Martin
