I think I would trust them, they must have all the equipment to do the measurements for electrolytics, so, they will have checked a cross section of the simulated results against real measurements.

I agree that good reputed manufacturers will not place wrong information to misguide the design engineers. However, there is need to test the parts in real application as test setup used for data simulation may differ considerably.

I am looking for filters in the range of 1MHz to 1GHz range RF that gets picked up in most of the amplifiers of high impedance. I am working on these right now.

1. Stopping RF noise in DC power supplies used for various types of sensitive amplifiers

2. Shielding the atmospheric RF noise reaching the amplifier circuit input stage

3. Stopping the microphonic noise in the cables

4. Using proper connectors and cable, instrument housing, shielded room for amplifier testing

I think it's fair to say that you probably know vastly more than I do about this sort of thing.

However it might be worth talking to Würth about their offerings: in Europe at least they are very keen to help their potential customers a great deal.

One other point, ESL (equivalent series inductance) is often considered to be more of a problem with MLCCs than ESR: several manufacturers make "reversed geometry" (i.e. terminals along the long sides instead of the ends) devices to reduce it.

Yes, I am looking at various geometries of the pulsed transformers from sources like coilcraft, Wurth, and many others and also have made few of my own designs using EPCOS cores. Leakage inductance comes of some help in shaping the fired pulses from MOSFET and IGBT.
