It looks like the rocket engine that spilled rocket fuel and destroyed the environment around the Santa Susana Rocketdyne plant in Simi Valley. But that's okay, since NASA is paying for the site cleanup - should only take another 20 years, based on their current success. The cancer rate in the area is very high in some areas of Simi Valley and the surrounding area. I know too many people out there who have (had) cancer. The site also had a nuclear meltdown in the late 50's and all sorts of "goodies" have leaked/blown up/spilled/burned at the site.

I believe it's the SSME (Space Shuttle Main Engine), correct? Look at the number of rings and the curved vertical pipe between the two others.

Now that we know what it is, let's see if it works. Yea, if it works just think of the possibilities! Ok, hook up the fuel line here. Be careful, could be high pressure. The igniter uses 24 volts, these two batteries ought to do. So OK, ready, don't need no start switch, I'll just open the fuel valve and touch these two wires together... Say what? No no, it's bolted down, can't go anywhere. Well here goes.....
