Who manufactured this? Is there customer support? Any details for the machine?

Did you read the manual or not?

As this is a home-brew machine, the mesh specification is determined by the Original Poster. It is impossible to see the machine from here, so it looks as though the forum will be unable to help.

Good luck.

If you really want to dewater sludge, you need a "mud press". Many manufacturers of this exist.

"Mud Press" - Sounds like a coffee pot in a mess hall.

It depends on the type of sludge - sewage, waterworks, chemical, coal fines, silt etc, and the equipment- filter press, vacuum filter, horizontal belt etc. If possible stick to monofilament media as with multifilament the fines get into the filaments and can't be washed out.
