Digital ABS, Injection Molds

I have a 35 ton plastic injection mold machine, and would like to try digital ABS but have concerns of blowout due to the high pressure. Does anyone can share some experience on using digital ABS molds. Do you have any design guidelines?

What peak pressure can digital ABS handle?

Hard to find. A guess is its: Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (Terpolymer) ABS

Why don't you do some research, make some phone calls or read a book on rapid prototyping.

Digital ABS is specifically for 3D printing, not for injection molding.

Call a supplier of the stuff and let them educate you.

Stick with molding grades.

I have the feeling that he wants to make his molds in 3D printing and use them on his injection machine!

Suppliers of the material can offer recommendations over the telephone.

Search engines, such as Google, can find the telephone numbers of the suppliers.
