It's the design for a roving robotic explorer that the European Space Agency stole from NASA developed entirely on their own.

Now, now, let's be kind.

At least they stole from the best. [Insert drunken, beer-soaked mob chanting "USA! USA!" here.]

It is newest tractor design for Syria. Note the local soil fertility and abundance of crop vegetation. It is the ESU - Extra Syrian Utility tractor. It generates its own power, and can move at least one rock per day.

From the pink sky and red dirt, it looks like a Mars Rover.

That rocket exhaust is at least Mach 6, the way I count it. Am I right?

I was looking at the picture and counting rocket exhaust flame convergences.

You mean these?

Where can I find more on this phenomenon?

I suggest some searches on fockin' rocket nozzle exhaust velocitities. And by the way, top o' tha' marnin' to ya'. That is my West Texas Irish Brogue. Not drunk yet, but practicing me slurred speech, and hardening me fists for a splash of Guiness later. I wear red on St. Paddy's day in hopes of gettin' even with the Catholic bastages.

Also fighter jet engine nozzles will at times show several of these foci that result from convergence supersonic exhaust shock waves. The number of foci is related to Mach number by some simple relationship, I think it might be F= M-1, not sure at all about that, so doon't quote me on it.

Do you pour the Guinness any special way, or just splash it into the glass/mug/whatever?

Evidently, this is important, since the manner elicited a number of comments on an earlier string.

One must decant Guinness from its container to the edge of the beer glass, without allowing the container to touch the glass. Splashing it around is a tremendous waste of the head. Filling a beer glass or mug from a keg dispenser (if your establishment has Guinness on tap), same approach, but not as fast you would with Bud, or Coors.

Judging from the color of the sky and ground, I'm going to say a model of a Mars "rover".

But I'm also thinking that it ma be a model of a lunar rover that the Soviet Union was (did?)send to the Mon about the same time we ent men.
