May I help you?

08/03/2007 11:31 PM

Friends

You can sponsor small hardware-software projects to our engineers. Give them time of say 24-weeks to complete and show the results. If this plan works well then it will be fruitful interaction.

For larger projects, from those are in USA, Canada, Germany, France and UK, we can work on special tasks also. Only for serious projects you can write to me.

I wish to help as many people I can and I do not mind travelling to your place if required.

You can also discuss online here on CR4 such that others can also help you. Talk real things and get real help. Behave like an engineer with plans. Weak plans take us to no-where.

If we do not use the opportunity today, then we are missing it out in time.

There is plenty of work available and only that we all are capable to do only in specific areas due to various reasons makes us fit in limited activities. However, it is worth talking about and some good links sure to form from interactions.

Most of the experts fail to list their expertize and then others know nothing about them. Small directory of expertize can be of great help and also CV of individuals who want to interact with others.

I have see that some professors from MIT are working in Nepal and Bangladesh on Arsenic removal projects along with local help. I think this kind of involved projects using some local teams and local funds and inviting experts from other countries can be of some good help.

People like Mukulmahant sure can do lot in India and many other countries if he find a local interest group coming forward.

John discussed about gas Nozzle problem and some one else about the moisture in the plastic sheet placed on the over bridge road.

Even if we solve simple things that can affect masses is a great idea. Solving problems of food, medicine and health, housing, transport, daily life items all matters.

We can also interact on larger engineering projects and with complicated designs. Concept to product ideas also good one. If you do not have resources then share out here.

I have several trained engineers and lots of electronics resource and all this can be made available for asking. You can also say what is possible to extend help. Of course you can take local help which is available at your door step.

If we can form a special group and can meet even once a year and keep discussing and helping from where we are, we can contribute a lot. If no one is asking for help then what is expected out of all this try? We need to act, think and get involved.

I have a need for a door hinge making "set-up;"
would you be interested in making a dedicated machine?

A thread on hinges has been submitted earlier by me,
and some advice has been gratefully received.

However, I still need to find someone to make a machine,
and if this is of interest to you, please contact me at:
jt(at)swopzone.com. Thank you.

jt.

If you want a machine then

--> Define all specifications including automatic, semi-automation etc

--> Give drawings if you want the products of particular type with a type of material to be manufactured by this machine

--> Give details of allocated finance

--> Specify time for delivery, mode of delivery and place of delivery

Unless you give all that, you are talking in air.

Shyam

Another great thread!

What constraints, parameters did you have in mind?

The limitations are often as follows

--> Specifications of the task are often in-complete

--> Reasonable funds are not allocated as attitude is sub contracting for free

--> Difficulty in finding an expert for the task who is also willing to take up

--> Easy to through an idea and difficult to take it to the final goal

--> Shutting communication without notice for long and then say sorry I was busy

--> Seriousness is often missing, many times it is an amateur enquiry

People should learn to behave professionals and should care for others time and give priority to self and clearly analyze, if this one is for you or not. Do not get involved in every thing.

Discussing ideas with like minded people is fine.
