It's art. $17 million dollars of it, but not quite finished.

Beautiful lake in Italy, none the less. I just need to make sure my wife doesn't see this or I won't hear the end of it until we go there.

16 days doesn't seem long enough.

I hope they keep these

When they dismantle it, so, they can be used to make temporary bridges following disasters.

"I hope they keep these When they dismantle it, so, they can be used to make temporary bridges following disasters."

You know that might actually be the point of the 'art installation:' to showcase these 'man-portable modular bridge units' and raise awareness of them. It wouldn't be the first time a new live-saving technology was introduced to the world through a showy art exhibit. The Fluoroscope, the Ferris Wheel, and the Edison light bulb, were all showcased at a World's Fair to introduce them to the public. He's just not waiting around for the next World's Fair.

No, they are going to install these on the straits between Greece and Turkey, so they can make nice and have tea times each afternoon (with doilies), and also to let the "Syrian" immigrants/refugees into Europe.

After what has taken place in Florida, I say drown 'em all, let G.O.D. sort them out.

Except for the hot women, if there are any, and the children young enough to be taught right from wrong.

So tell me, how many Muslims drowned in boiling pork lard(1) does it take to resurrect one gay dancer?

Notes:

  1. If we're going to go THERE, we might as well go ALL THE WAY there, after all, you can't 'half-fire' a bullet.

But you can soak your bullets in lead, if the object is to terrify Muslims who think that pork will send them to Sheol. To answer your question it would only take zero Muslims to resurrect one gay dancer, since only Jesus can do that, and he is no Muslim, at least not in the strict sense, although at least some Muslim claim Jesus as a prophet of God. I see him as infinitely more than a prophet, although every word prophesied about the Messiah was fulfilled in Jesus.

The thing about it all of the Muslims or just one murdered is the same. All of the gay people or just one is the same. All of people murdered or just one is the same. It is as if the entire human race were murdered.

That is the level of hatred that equates in the case of murder. It is viewed the same in all the religions where there is one God.

The way to stop this murderous kind of attack is to stop letting Islamists jihadists buy or get away with smuggling weapons in the United States.

My point is this: Your answer is to repay death with death, which does nothing to heal the wounds to the community. Executing in the name of Justice may be required, but killing for Revenge is never the correct thing.

Remember, when the Romans came for Jesus in the garden, and Paul(1) sought to fight off the soldiers, even slicing off a guard's ear, what did Jesus do? He picked up the ear, and reattached it to the guard's head(2), then scolded Paul about living by the sword. Jesus never repaid Hate with Hate, the only time He came close was when He tossed all the merchants and moneychangers out of the Temple for setting up their stalls and 'commercializing' His Father's House(3).

Notes:

  1. If memory serves.
  2. The account is light on the details, but I would assume He cleaned the dirt off the ear before reattaching it.
  3. That makes me wonder how He feels about the Oral Roberts types with their 'megachurches.'

Why clean the dirt off the ear? He used mud from spittle and dirt to heal the eyes of the blind.

There are none so blind as those who will not see, there are no enemies here, just brothers and sisters.

Oh yeah, He did use mud for healing.

Guess it's just my 20th century attitudes going "Slapping random dirt onto an open wound? Ick, that's going to cause an infection."

He created the dirt, the water in the spit, and the bacteria. In Him, we live and move, and have our being. All brothers and sisters here, no enemies.αΩ

Not to be spiteful, but tell that to the microbes living inside my back molar, making what should be a simple (and relatively painless) root canal into a drawn-out, torturous experience. They may not be my 'enemy,' but they're sure not making me a 'friend.'

Bacteria (some) are your friends. Bacteria (some) are your enemies. I was referring to human beings. I though I was being Germ(aine) to the conversation.

From this angle, I could not make out the boat ramp, the trailer houses, or the trailer trash coming out of them, but it must be California. The only place broke enough to be completely broke, and still spending money on art crap.
