I'm fascinated with the ways traditional women's wear designers (e.g. Ralph Lauren) and anything-but-traditional designers approach wearable technology. Some stuff is just silly -- but a lot of couture designs strike me as equally outre' and even more unwearable. The second annual Silicon Valley Fashion Week showcased a lot of experimental wearables along with drones delivering mixed drinks. I liked the necklace that is also a set of headphones (see linked article for a picture). Very practical.
