11/13/2016 2:29 AM

For conducting type test of a product, is there any reference standard which provide us guidelines regarding samples. I mean these samples have to be new one supplied / provided by the manufacturer or these samples can be taken from field or from stock in warehouse”

Any extract from any standard if you can provide as support.

I will appreciate you for the same

An equipment manufacturer would not have any need to approach an Engineering blogsite for details of type-testing standards, therefore this particular post has to come from a user of this type of equipment.

There is no need for a user to type-test a manufacturer's product, as the manufacturer's warranty covers it.

The team attempting type manufacturer's type testing in the using organisation would therefore be better-employed doing something more productive with the time.
