11/21/2016 10:05 AM

in the year 1920 a great invention (DEATH RAY) done by great scientist NIKOLA TESLA which could have changed the world we live in , in many ways. but unfortunately we lost that machine or we can say that he destroy that machine by him self .

All i know about this is that he bombarded electron at very high velocity on carbon .

i have read about it and have known that it could be the most dangerous weapon of all time and this increased my curiosity and i want to know more about death ray.

The information, if it exists, is likely to be highly classified. Otherwise, every potential terrorist would own one.

  • One wouldn't expect a Google search to reveal anything, for example, so no attempt has been made here to do so.

All the Tesla's information (at least what's known of) was returned to his home country of Serbia. And that includes his 'Death Ray Machine'

Nikola Tesla was a brilliant man who made some breakthrough developments at a time when electrical engineering was in its infancy. But it's my understanding from what I've read that in his later years he did tend to make some unsubstantiated claims. I suspect the "Death Ray" is one of these.

Like most things Tesla proposed some were truly brilliant and work well, while others were just plain pseudoscience dreams that never worked or outright scams perpetuated to help fund his other projects.

The death ray (Tesla actually called it Teleforce) appears to be a concept idea but was never realised and from what I could see when I came across it it was an unworkable idea not a real or workable invention. He had a few ideas regarding particle accelerators, beams and even short range high voltage discharge weapons, but he was not the first to propose them.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_ray

Plenty of other links online but be WARNED, many are to strongly biased pseudoscience fan sites and are not to be taken seriously.

Modern "death rays" are still being developed today covering particle beams, particle accelerators and high voltage discharge. To date practical versions of the weapon concept now exist but are still very much in their infancy and of limited use.

The dufus that hijacked the good Tesla name has got an unguided missile system for killing people that's working quite effectively.

German Transport Ministry Reportedly Calls Tesla's Autopilot A 'Traffic Hazard'

An unguided missile is a bit more than "a traffic hazard" but I guess it's a start in getting the dufus to test his dumb systems off-road before putting them in the wild west of real live traffic situations.

There are some good (factual) books on Tesla's life and discoveries, you could try Amazon.com.

When you build a working prototype, I bet ''Ming the Merciless'' would pay BIG bucks for it...
