Hackers Never Quit...

06/03/2017 4:27 AM

The hacking wars are here to stay, and it looks like they will never end.

Even quantum computers will eventually be hacked, and nefarious engineers are

writing software now to do just that, even though the computers are in their infancy.

MAD magazine was very prophetic with it's "Spy vs Spy" cartoons.

For those that don't remember, here is a link:

I think that is a spot-on analysis, and yes, it won't matter what we do in many ways.

IMHO:

There is a very large economy based on anti virus software.

The ultimate anti virus does not,and will not ever be developed.

It would be a conflict of interest for both sides to end the war.

Considering the conflicts of interest on both sides of the situation, and the low

standard of ethics in modern corporations in general,it is not beyond the realm of

possibility that some of the viruses are released into the wild by some of the anti-

virus companies to sustain their profit level.

I am not making an accusation, merely an observation.

The ultimate anti virus does not,and will not ever be developed.

I have always felt, Anti-Virus software is for the most part, reactive.

Also,.. the Anti-Virus industry is highly dependent upon virus's,... of course.

I always used for the most part Norton anti-virus software. I had always heard that McAfee Anti-Virus software raised hell on your operating system as well as any other business software you had installed.

About 15-18 years ago, for what ever reason, I had loaded McAfee software up on my new computer... and it verified what I had heard. I had to remove it and ever reference to McAfee on my computer. And loaded Norton.
