Hero's vending machine dispensed holy water. There isn't a picture in the article or the video; I found a drawing here. Very simple and clever.

It was an effective deterrent until patrons realised they could make their own holy water by filling a pot and boiling the hell out of it.

He was always very prolific, informative and entertaining.

I don't recall any discussion of him vanishing.

I have some of those Nuka Cola machines scattered through out the Commonwealth.

I've been to Japan and saw the machines that supplied alcohol. That one in the picture article didn't give it justice. The machines I saw issued all sizes of cans, including gallon sized Sapporo beer.

I remember milk vending machines in the Danbury, CT area maybe 50 years ago.
