Having had children and grand children I must agree with you.

Example:

Question of child: Where did I came from?

Reply (shortened, cryptic reply): Inform the child about the birds and the bees and any animal that comes into mind about the facts of reproduction, any theory that seem to be applicable etc.

Response from child: We are a strange lot, John (new neighbours son) says he came from Boston.

Was it a stupid question? - No!

Was it a stupid answer? - No!

What went wrong? - nothing - It was due in any case.

JD,

I do not know your exact definition of "underprivileged back ground" but if it includes being 1 of 8 children, on a small unsuccessful farm, with a father who was the town drunk and liked to beat his children and wife. I just might qualify!

A poor childhood is not reason enough to be a failure in life. Just look around at all the screw-ups that come from "privileged families."

Yes you got it right, there are some of us who did not have the advantages of the more privileged, and because of ones inquisitiveness, one got to ask the right questions, and make ones way in life. For this, one may pat one's self on the back, and call the other inquisitive persons idiots because they didn't ask the right questions. In Aussi we have a saying, give a person a fair go. So looking more closely at what is said I have a feeling that I may have got it all wrong, for that I apologise. So are you saying that anyone is justified in asking a question, silly or not, and they don't have to tolerate some idiot asking them; what do you what to know that for?

Regards JD.

JD,

What I am saying is that there a lot of people asking questions out of pure laziness. They are too lazy to do even the most basic Search for answers on Google or any other Search Engine to try and find answers to their questions.

To expect others to feed you, clothe you and wipe your arse after you take a dump is being an Idiot.

This is what I am talking about!

An example of what I am talking about just posted:

How are Picnic Coolers Made? By Guest in Manufacturing

Do you see my point?
