Forklift Problems

08/28/2007 9:00 PM

Does anyone out there know where I can find any information on a Crown Forklift Model # 30RCTT-S? I need a wiring diagram or some info as to how it should be wired.

A Pin-out on GE EV-1 SCR Control Panel would help.

Or data, picture, diagram, etc. of Solenoid Panel GE # 82814.

GE is of no help, searched Google, GlobalSpec. So far no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Richard

Try Flight Systems. They are a control repair company for the industry. They offer parts, manuals and control board repairs.

Eventually, you should find:

Good luck!

Thank you for your help. I appreciate the suggestions. The sites you suggested will be valuable to me on future projects. I have saved them in my favorites. The current problem is that the forklift is old and obsolete. Crown no longer stocks either the manuals or the components on ones that old. The boss had me push the old thing outside and park it, probably to be scrapped out later. I'm sure he doesn't want to put any serious money into it, but you know how sometimes our kind just has to fix an unfixable thing just cause we don't like to say "Aw fooey, it just ain't worth it." Go buy a new one.

So, There you have it.

Sorry I didn't see your post about the age of the lift -- I should read more carefully. I will check at work for anything that might help. Not getting my hopes up though as our lifts are still all supported in the Crown parts system. They are probably not the same vintage as yours. The older ones are very pricey to maintain and unreliable.

Crown did agree to buy some of our older lifts a couple years ago -- not much money -- but it at least got them off-site.

We use over 65 Crown lifts of all types including Turret Trucks. We are always assisted gladly by Crown representives and have Crown mechanics on-site two days a week.

Contact them -- not sure of your location so here is the link for their Dealer Network - www.crown.com/usa/dealer/index.html

I have a 30SCTTS on site. I'll look to see what info I have on it. I'll also check for the panels your questioning about. It will probably be Sept 4th or 5th before I can get to the other plant to check.

Sounds like the fork lift is older than both of us. Try Superior Equipment in Phoenix, AZ.

I assume you have an answer to your question -- I made copies of the items you need but due to your lack of response to my post I will not put the effort into scanning and providing them -- very time consuming -- I wish you luck.

Dear ietech,

My apologies for not replying. I got laid off from a high paying job 3 weeks ago and am working for about half the wages at a new job. I also started 2 part-time jobs so all together I will get about 80% what I was making. I don't get many opportunities to check my e-mail now. I have not found the answer yet. I really appreciate your efforts and the help you have given me. If you have the info, I could sure use it. I would be willing to return the favor if there is anything I could do for you. Please let me know.

Thank You,

Richard
