11/20/2017 10:23 AM

Hello, I'm a master engineer student specialised in manufacturing and for my thesis, I'm looking for an engineer who is familiar with the production process: Jet vapor deposition for a small interview (probably via mail).

thank you in advance.

i have already included many articles but we HAVE to include an interview with an engineer for some subjective questions about his view on JVD.

<...Urgent...> One presumes there is some sort of deadline on this activity.

Posting on CR4 and waiting for someone to be bothered to respond is a strategy that will result in delays and most probably result failure to meet the deadline, so the telephone is the best use of research time. Remember, when the telephone rings, it's someone else's agenda. So making a selection of telephone calls to the editors of the production houses from which these articles emerged would be the best way forward. Dividing the effort amongst the <...we...> is the most effective use of that time.

Go for it.

I am not familiar with Jet Vapor Deposition, so I would not be a good candidate for your interview. I have developed thermal spray deposition materials and processes.

I would suggest you try to find an expert to interview at Arcelor Mittal, CRM Group or Jet Process Corporation.

http://www.jetprocess.com/

http://automotive.arcelormittal.com/europe/products/coatings/jetgal/EN

If you cannot find an expert’s name or number to call on the websites, then I would suggest you search for a name by looking for the inventors on patents issued to the companies or for the JVD process.A general search for JVD terms on www.uspto.gov might help you find additional JVD experts.

A search for an expert to interview through LinkedIn might be another approach. LinkedIn might help you reach out to the experts you found on websites above or through patent searches.

Your welcome and good luck!

If you need some additional help, then feel free to reach out.

I might be able to answer general questions. I have degrees in materials engineering and metallurgy.

Gary- did you know you can send private message to Original Poster (or anyone else)?

if it were me, I would not put my email address out there in space.
