Hey James,

Check the settings of each post you add a comment to. At the top right, ensure that you are indeed subscribed to each post you contribute to.

Also, make sure that the default subscription setting in your profile is as you like it. You can set it so that it auto-subscribes to conversations you are a part of.

LMK if this doesn't fix things. PM me or reach out to the on-duty admin via cr4admin@ieeeglobalspec.com.

I am hereby letting you know. I found for instance every thread I checked, I am in fact subscribed. I also found in my profile the settings are to receive notification of each new comment (not worded that way, but that is the most frequent notification setting).

I have the same issue, and so far as I can tell my profile settings are right.

That's lucky - e-mail is low priority communication.

Perhaps it is just a way of neither wasting nor harming electrons.

Electrons are more durable that either of us, I am sure.

I also have not been getting notifications. Can the moderator enlighten as to whether anything in the software changed starting with the new year?

All,

Thank you for checking your subscription status for us. To our knowledge, there have been no software changes, but we're looking into the issue as we speak.

Thank you for your patience!

At our power plant, little lights blinking can be a real problem! Anyway, if the numbers on the SCADA are changing every second or two that is a good thing, at least with respect to process parameters. Rule of thumb - if the signal has noise, that is a good thing. Those perfectly steady "signals" are the ones we need worry about.

Noise even happens after the unit dispatch time has expired, and unit is offline.
