Ethylene is the primary raw ingredient for the production of polyethylene resins. In the USA, it is stored in pressure tanks and transported by pipeline, all in compliance with the ASME code, section VIII, and the DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.

Ethylene is often stored in ordernory pressure tanks, the operation pressure is about 2-12kpa, the temperature in the tank is -1070C, ethylene is liquid state in the double wall tank. Aand also, the storage should has the compressiors and other equipmenrs.

Ethylene is often transportated by pressure tanks with low temperature and high pressure.
