Human Iris Authentication

Hello friends,

I am thinking of setting up a system for authentication and recognition of human identity by using the iris image. Any information about the hardware and software of such a system from those who have experience in this technology, would be highly appreciated.

Homeopath claims that they can see the status of your health in the iris.

The iris seem to vary due to emotions, light intensity, pain, health etc and may therefore be more complicated than fingerprints.

We have a state of the art (that is what reports told us) fingerprint access control.

About 5% of the time we are either denied access or allowed as a different person.

I like your idea - one can give the door the "open or else look". I don't think the door appreciated the finger signs we gave it.
