Since 2016, Many "FAKE" News Sources. Here is a Way to KNOW!

Here's the problem with a chart like this. It rates Time as neutral. But Time put out this latest magazine cover that is so egregiously biased, it renders any attempt at rating a site's political leanings as meaningless.

Here's the reality explained:

On some websites, i see the Daily Caller cited as a neutral news source, also Fox news, infowars, all conservative (very!) supplies of 2nd rate fake news....

A recent example which stank, was the Daily Caller saying that recently 2 FBI agents were killed by Democrats!!! Not covered by any of the middle, neutral websites, except to say that is was domestic (husband wife!), not political!!

You have to go with what feels right and the form I posted is not perfect, but it fits with my understanding gleaned overall...

HA! The Washington Post is about the furthest left leaning rag out there....

The problem here is opinions reported as news, which has always been the case, just that opinions were not always stated in such a nasty way....People, reporters, were more polite in the past...Now everybody says everything as if the opinion of others is an affront to the senses, and should be criticised in a most heinous way without regard for others feelings, such as, I am the only one whose opinion matters, and you are a moron...This 'no compromise' attitude shows a lack of respect for people as a whole and degrades national dialog, it is counterproductive to society as a whole and whoever is behind it needs to be exposed for what they are....an enemy of the people....The do-gooders are running amok.......and I might add, that anybody who must insist that they are right with nonstop rhetoric, are clearly not confident in their position....

It is shown as left of middle, but still in the green box.

This might be a demo of the reaction many people have about Trump....Left looks good?

Another observation: There must be hundreds or thousands of stories every day in the country and the world. Of these, by necessity, only at most 5 to 10 are reported, so there are one or more layers of selection before you hear them on the TV or radio. Selection bias is subtle, but more powerful than "fake" news stories which can be proven false.

IMHO, reading stories is much better than listening or watching. Video is specially designed to influence (like a loud demonstration just in front of the camera), and before you have a chance to analyze, the commentator is on the next story. A written story, you can reread and have time to think, and the selection of what to read is yours and not made for you.
