Danfoss Compressor

Good day

In the name plate of Danfoss compressor with Model number HCJ090T4LC7 and TECH no. SNH902AF01. What does Tech number stands for?

Danfoss doesn't know either.

Their web site says:

The name plate of a compressor read:

Danfoss Commercial Compressors

Model no HCJ090T4LC7

Tech no SNH902AF01

Serial NO S1714KO3415

I wanted to know if i want to order the compressor is necessary to show Tech no. or the model number only.

Danfoss acquired compressor-maker Scroll Technologies, seen on the internet as Scroll Tech, in 2006. That giant identifier, SNH902AF01, might be Scroll Tech's part number.

Wrote to a friend of mine in Danfoss technical. This is his reply.

"As for the question you raised concerning the Danfoss Compressor the information needed to order the correct compressor is the model number HCJ090T4LC7. The Tech number referred to relates to the part number that would have been used by Scroll Technologies who were bought by Danfoss in 2006. I guess that for a while we would have listed both the Danfoss model number and the Scroll Tech number on the label.

From the model number I can identify 2 code numbers 120U2534 is the code number for the “Single Pack” and 120U2531 is the code number for the “Industrial Pack” (12 compressors on a pallet)."
