Variable Frequency Drive

hey friends,

i want to connect a potentiometer to the yaskawa v1000 to run the motor 1.1 kw 4 pole. can anybody help me which ports in the yaskawa v1000 do i need to connect the three legs of a potentiometer.

That assumes he understands what the manual is telling him. This sounds a lot like a call for help from someone who really doesn't know what he is doing. Anyone working with a VFD regularly has done this before, and knows what to look for in the manual.

"Top" leg of pot (fully clockwise end) to V+ (10.5Vdc)

Wiper to A1

"Bottom" leg to AC (0Vdc)

See technical manual SIEP C710606 18F pages 63 & 64.
