Mobile phone on roving

10/05/2007 5:14 AM

Recently I had the occasion to put my mobile phone on roving, this required that I phone the mobile phone company and request that it be put on roving. The problem that I encounted was as follows. I used the house phone because I could put it on speaker while waited for an operator. When I did get an operator I was advised to use the mobile free number. What followed was half an hour with a mobile stuck in my ear. So the question is, is there a something on the market whereby I can place my mobile phone on that act like a phone speaker? I know there is the hands free system that works in a car, but is there a electronic devise that I can sit my mobile on while I browse CR4

Regards JD.

The possibilities already exist.

1) Some handsets can be set on speaker phone. I forgot how but I always seem to get it right when least wanted (when I want to sneak in a conversation while attending a workshop)

2) My phone came with a plug in ear piece (with which I can listen to the radio as well).

3) I have a blue-tooth ear piece. (also with voice tags to dial hands free - it phones my wife when I call another driver stupid)

4) USB connection (have not tried it yet)

5) I can use it as a mobile as well.

My Nokia phone came with a speaker phone feature. I can hear it well when it's sitting in a cradle in my car, for example.

My daughters Samsung phone also has a speaker built into it. A curious feature for a mobile phone?

I use a device that acts as a cradle for my mobile. It is plugged to the lighter and a radio transmits the call through the cars audio system. Very reliable, fun, and cost effective.

USD $20. AutoZone autoparts store.
