Ametek 5402 Current Amplifier 1GV/A 100kHz

04/28/2019 11:44 AM

Hello,

Has anyone used these Ametek 5402 current Amplifier 1GV/A 100kHz 1pA to 10nA? Gift it or perhaps ask for small money, whatever. If someone wants to develop with these specifications then also I can offer some funds. We can discuss design and performance related information.

I am looking for an old used amplifier still in working condition if anyone has these.

I am not sure if these are manufactured now.

I am also looking for its internal circuit diagram to see if damaged one can be repaired or not.

Thanks.

Hello Rixter

I have written to them and then they have asked me to wait. May be they may reply with delay.

I did not find price for 5402 Amplifier anywhere.

SRS is better as they keep their price open. However none other amplifier is said to be reaching at 100kHz for gain as high as 1GV/A or 10^9. I am not sure if it will perform well so I want to get some feedback and perhaps if it is in production then I do want to try.

I also like to develop or get developed as these old manufacturers are going out of production.

Thanks.

Hi SolarEagle:

Many pages are blank in those catalogs and they really give no idea of what is inside.

Real use may have useful information hidden there.

606F2 perhaps can be tried. I am not sure if it is as good as 5402.

Other option is to build a box using evaluation kits of ADI or TEXAS. This will be under $1000.

Thanks. Good information.
