Incinerator Burner

05/28/2019 4:01 PM

Please house, What will be the size of burner for a 200kg medical waste incinerator?

This should be able to burn Syringe, needles and any medical waste to ashes.

From: Rivers State, Nigeria.

Is this 200kg per day, per hour, or other time period? Does the process need to be continuous, or can it be one or more batches per day?

Preliminarily one might estimate 1000Btu/lb (likely worst case being lots of water content).

You might find something here: https://www.elastec.com/products/portable-incinerators/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqoSkrtfE4gIVTvDACh0UgArlEAMYASAAEgLUePD_BwE

Your requirements are smaller than most units I noticed (Googling medical waste incinerators). Maybe rental is an option?

A phone call to the specific equipment manufacturer is always quicker and more reliable than posting on CR4. One wonders why so few actually do that these days, and why the use of the telephone has decreased in inverse proportion to the numbers of them in the environment.

<...200kg...> is a fair-sized bonfire, perhaps 2m across.
