Importing CID File Into a Generic IED in PCM

07/02/2019 8:40 AM

Hello everyone

I have successfully imported a third party IED, a Siprotec 7SJxxx in this case into ABB's PCM, but the challenge I face is the Siprotec device appears in the goose configuration matrix only as a 'client'. My desire is to have this device as a 'publisher' as well of goose messages so that ABB's devices subscribe to them. So, as of now, the Siprotec device can receive goose messages from ABB IED's, but cannot publish goose for ABB's devices to subscribe to

Thanks

Undefined abbreviations:

<...IED...>

<...PCM...>

What do these TLAs mean, please? Otherwise the question is NBG for those wishing to learn from the answers to the query.

[One might reasonably assume that <...ABB...> is the electrical equipment manufacturer that goes by those initials.]

IED = Improvised Explosive Device? I'm sure customs wouldn't allow importing that...
