Calculating Open Circuit Voltage Across CT Terminals

09/09/2019 10:32 AM

How can the voltage resulting across the secondary terminals of a current transformer be calculated when the secondary wire is accidentally open-circuited? In what way can such a situation adversely affect the current transformer?

<...In what way can such a situation adversely affect the current transformer?...>

It's probably the breakdown voltage of the insulation...
